In total three daggerboards provide stable sailing. There are two main daggerboards, one on each side, plus a stabilising daggerboard on the starboard hull near the bow. The daggerboards are built in a lightweight but strong material and are adjusted by pushing them down by hand, and using a strap to hold them down. If you want to bring them back up you release the strap and the daggerboard will easily come back up. The straps have been removed on the pictures below, which is done when the boat is not operating.

Daggerboards can be lowered to a depth of 2.25 meters or hoisted to a maximum depth of 0.45 meters for the full vessel, enabling beaching of the yacht. For more information on beaching see the ‘Beaching‘ feature.
